Radio in your pocket

Before browser audio worked reliably on every phone, SimplyRadio built dedicated mobile apps. Listeners could open the app, choose a station and hear it in one tap.
The apps came in two waves. The first custom iPhone app was built in April 2011 by Konstantin Pestov, with Kenny supplying the station artwork — and its launch was announced publicly on April 10, 2011. A second official app, "Live @ Scan's House," followed in May 2018 on iOS and Android. Today the stations stream straight from the site — no app required.
